The IFTA/Intrastate on-line system allows all registered Intrastate carriers to order credentials (license and decals). Also, the system allows all registered International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) carriers to file quarterly IFTA returns, pay amounts due and order credentials (license and decals). The Department of Revenue's on-line system will offer the convenience of completing transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payments can be made by bank draft, Mastercard, or Visa.
 
General Information

Once returns or credential orders are submitted on-line, the information will be sent to the Department of Revenue for processing and will be available on-line for inquiry. The system will only accept original returns; amended returns must be submitted on Gas 1276-IFTA and mailed to the Department of Revenue. Returns may be filed on-line three years prior to the current quarter. New quarterly reports will be available on-line the first business day of the month following the end of the quarter.

If you attempt to login and fail 3 times, your account will be disabled for 30 minutes. If the system remains idle for 30 minutes, you will automatically be logged out and must login again to continue using the on-line system.

 
Required Browser
The on-line system has been designed to operate using one of the following browsers:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher
  • Firefox version 3.0 or higher

If you do not have the proper browser, the application may not function properly.

Red asterisk (*) denotes required fields that must be filled in.
 
A Help button is located in the top right corner of every page. For help on specific fields, simply click on the question mark (?) beside the field. For detailed IFTA requirements, please refer to the IFTA Compliance Manual located on the DOR website: www.dornc.com/publications/ifta.html
 
The symbol (!) is a warning that you have entered incorrect information. When you move your mouse over the (!), an explanation of the error will be displayed specific to that field.
 
Four navigation buttons are located at the bottom of each page:
The BACK button takes you back to the previous page
The SUBMIT button takes you to the next page.
The REFRESH button clears all information entered on a page.
The CANCEL button cancels all input and exits the application.
